Allison Goldfarb is a therapeutic practitioner who partners with some of the biggest and most brilliant healers of human suffering on earth – horses - especially her two main coaching partners Charlie and Hobbs.
She has a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College. Her first career was in pharmaceutical and medical device scientific and regulatory consulting. In 2014, at age 44, she retired from that field to receive education in and launch a second career in equine-facilitated therapeutic services.
For her career change, she dove deep into education/training in coaching, facilitation, Gestalt psychology, somatic awareness methods, energy work (including Level II Reiki, trauma healing, equine behavior, the language of Equus, and natural horsemanship techniques. She is a PATH Int’l Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor, a certified practitioner of the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method®, and a certified Transformational Presence (TP) Coach and a member of the leadership team for the TP Global Foundation - a coach training organization. She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, in-law, step-child, teacher, student, facilitator, entrepreneur, and caregiver, among other roles, and a student of the human dynamics in each.
She specializes in guiding teens and adults as they resolve and transform depression, anxiety, grief and loss, childhood and adult trauma, and relationship conflicts. She has a special passion for working with neurodivergent and gender diverse teens and women in midlife.
